Door Supervisor Training Syllabus
In order to obtain an SIA licence you will need to show that you are trained to the right level. This applies to front-line staff only.
To get one of the qualifications linked to door supervisor licensing, you will need to attend and take four training modules and pass 4multiple choice exams. In line with the SIA requirements, the DS course is delivered over 6 days direct contact days plus 9 hours guided learning (set homework).
Module 1 ( Guided Learning)
Principles of Working in the Private Security Industry
-The main characteristics of the private Security Industry

– Crimes relevant to door supervision – conducting effective searches

Application of Conflict Management
-Principles of Conflict Management – Recognising, assessing and reducing risk – Problem solving techniques – communication to de-escalate conflict
