This qualification is designed to provide an introduction to teaching for individuals who would like to work or currently work within FE Colleges, Independent Training Providers and/or Local Authorities. This includes the teaching role and responsibilities in education and training, ways to maintain a safe and supportive learning environment, the relationships between teachers and other professionals in education and training, inclusive teaching and learning approaches in education and training and ways to create an inclusive teaching and learning environment.

About PTLLS / Level 3 Education and Training

Do you want to get into teaching or training in colleges, training centres, or your chosen area? Previous students have gone on to teach in security, catering, photography, building, care sector, licensing industry, food hygiene, first aid, fire safety, drug awareness, mainstream school/school support assistants, Further Education Colleges……the opportunities for employment are endless.

We at SFM Training, run regular training courses in Wales. This course will allow you to train in your chosen area including the SIA Security License and other skills Training in Wales. It will also allow you to begin to teach in the wider educational arena.

This course is a professional teaching qualification. It is designed for those who are training, teaching, tutoring and assessing or those who wish enter the teaching profession. On completion, it allows you to teach in colleges, private training providers and in house for any subject that you have experience in. and others including college.

So what will I have to do?

The course will involve a good degree of commitment from you, and you will need to be able to use a computer and have a reasonable standard of English, and IT skills,…… having said that, it is not too demanding.

we are here to guide you through safely, and get you qualified. It will usually take about 3 weeks from start to finish including your working from home and direct contact with us in the classroom
